This November, Freight Island is being transformed into a Winter Wonderland for the festive season. Winter Island takes over the site for the second time, with a host of cosy bars and enchanted spaces, with events and activities to see you through the coldest months of the year, from work parties to family days out.
On top of our usual roller rink residents, we’ve built a Christmas tree forest to get lost in. On chilly nights, we’ll be hosting Manchester’s best-loved restaurants as well as some wintry newcomers, from the Grey Goose Après Bar to a mulled wine barrel bar and artisanal cheesemakers. You can grab a bratwurst at the outdoor winter market, curl up for some Christmas crafting or bring the kids to the panto followed by a visit to our very own grotto.
