The Mayfield Tours cover the rich history and background of Mayfield, Schofield delves deep into the past of the former railway originally built in 1910. Despite being hit by a parachute mine, the resilience of Mancunians during WW2 allowed Depot to continue servicing Manchester as its main train station throughout the 1950s. It closed to passengers on August 28 1960.
The tour includes love stories, drama and tales of raw industrial power, plus lots of humour.
December dates: 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th.
