About the event
Handing the reigns to one name for a seven hour rave isn’t a decision you take lightly. With great power comes great responsibility, after all. So it’s no coincidence four masters of their craft are involved here, representing three distinct styles across a trio of rooms, giving crowds a chance to lock in for whichever journey appeals most.
The Martinez Brothers are no strangers to such marathons. Tonight presenting the sound of their Cutting Headz imprint, the New York duo’s formative years on the Big Apple club scene can still be heard today alongside Ibizan tech— betraying their associations with the White Island’s most raucous parties. Eats Everything’s larger than life character is matched by upfront beats born in the UK; bass and garage careering into techno and jungle. Honey Dijon, meanwhile, is Chicago’s finest contemporary, mentored by some of the Windy City’s all-time greats. Since emerging a genre-melding tour de force, she’s unafraid to switch between soul and chunk, jack and shuffle, funk and disco.
